Lowkey, the eminent UK hiphop artist renowned for his political artistry and activism, is joined by Mozambican-born poet & MC Mohammed Yahya and Palestinian rappers EbsilJaz to share a story based on the real experiences of detainees at the notorious Yarl’s Wood detention centre.

Produced by Kensaye. Also, special thanks to Kensaye for generously donating the instrumental element for Escape from Yarl's Wood.

The track is an exclusive collaboration recorded for Refugee Week. The project was initiated by Counterpoints Arts, the arts charity which manages and produces Refugee Week.
